Job Description

As an In-Store Visual Merchandiser at Next, you will ensure that our product presentation is not only visually appealing but also aligned with our brand standards and sales objectives. This role is crucial in creating an environment that enhances customer experience and encourages sales through effective display and styling techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative visual merchandising strategies in the store.
• Collaborate with the store management team to align visual merchandising with sales targets.
• Set up displays, dress mannequins, and arrange fixtures and merchandise to promote sales.
• Stay current with visual merchandising trends and the brand’s marketing calendar to effectively plan store layouts and promotions.
• Train and guide the store team on visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure consistency of the visual presentation across all sections in the store.
• Manage inventory and supplies needed for visual displays.
• Regularly report on merchandising activities and store layouts to regional visual merchandisers.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Visual Merchandiser or Visual Merchandising Manager.
• Strong creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with store teams.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, climb ladders, and use tools to install displays.
• Flexibility to work varied hours/days, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by the retail schedule.
• A qualification in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, or a related field is preferred.
