Job Description: Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is looking for a passionate and motivated coach to work within our Youth Girls Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality coaching sessions to girls aged 9-16, with the aim of developing their football skills and nurturing their passion for the game. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementing age-appropriate training sessions focused on technical, tactical, physical, and psychological aspects of the game.
- Providing individualized feedback and guidance to players to support their development and progression.
- Collaborating with other coaches and staff members to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to player development.
- Monitoring and evaluating player performance and progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for development.
- Building positive relationships with players, parents, and guardians, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment within the academy.
- Promoting the values of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, including respect, teamwork, and excellence, both on and off the pitch.
- Adhering to all club policies and procedures, including safeguarding and welfare guidelines, to ensure the safety and well-being of players at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum FA Level 2 coaching qualification (UEFA B License or equivalent) with a strong background in coaching youth football.
- Experience coaching girls’ football at grassroots or academy level, with a proven track record of player development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young players.
- Knowledge of the FA Youth Development Pathway and a commitment to promoting player pathways and progression.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, including match days and tournaments, as required by the academy schedule.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a genuine passion for youth development and a desire to make a difference in players’ lives.
