Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse co-workers to achieve daily operational targets and KPIs, including inbound and outbound goods handling, stock replenishment, and order picking.
• Coordinate and prioritize daily tasks and allocate resources effectively to ensure the timely and accurate processing of goods and orders.
• Monitor and review warehouse processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and IKEA standards, including maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Support the development and training of warehouse co-workers, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to help them succeed in their roles.
• Collaborate with other departments, including logistics, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the store.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve common goals.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
• Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order processing, and health and safety procedures.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels and build positive working relationships.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the needs of the business.
