Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Shift Leader for our night shift operations in Luton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the night shift team, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and maintaining high standards of productivity and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the night shift warehouse team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Oversee the picking, packing, and dispatching of orders to meet productivity and accuracy targets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.
• Train, develop, and motivate team members, providing guidance and support to achieve performance goals.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, implementing improvements where necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and ensure proper stock management.
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other shift leaders and management to ensure seamless transition between shifts.
• Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring all team members adhere to standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a warehouse or logistics environment is essential.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
