Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse Sales Assistant at IKEA Cardiff. This role involves supporting the logistics and sales operations by managing inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring the smooth flow of products from the warehouse to the sales floor.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the receiving, checking, and organizing of incoming deliveries.
  • Ensure products are accurately labeled and stored in the correct locations within the warehouse.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Restock products on the sales floor as needed, ensuring availability and accessibility for customers.
  • Assist customers with locating products and provide product information as needed.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner (training provided).
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that product displays are well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse and sales managers.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
