Job Description:
Walmart Inc. is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Fresh Food Associates at our Amherstburg location. As a Fresh Food Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality products and exceptional service to our customers in the fresh food department.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the freshness and quality of all fresh food products, including fruits, vegetables, meats, and dairy items.
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments of fresh food products according to company standards and guidelines.
• Rotate products and maintain proper storage and handling procedures to minimize waste and maximize freshness.
• Keep the fresh food department clean, organized, and well-maintained, including display cases, shelves, and storage areas.
• Assist customers in locating and selecting fresh food items, offering product recommendations and information as needed.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of fresh food products and their proper handling, storage, and preparation techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
