Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our Tim Hortons team in Québec. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations during their shift, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading the team to achieve store targets.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Assist in training, developing, and motivating team members to deliver high standards of service.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Handle cash transactions, balance tills, and prepare bank deposits.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including restocking and merchandising.
  • Implement and uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring all team members adhere to standards.
  • Assist with scheduling and shift planning to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Qualifications:
  • Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
  • Bilingual (French and English) is preferred but not required.
