Job Description: As a Customer Assistant at Tesco, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring our store maintains high standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers with their shopping needs, providing friendly and helpful service at all times.
• Operating the checkout process efficiently and accurately, handling transactions and payments.
• Restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed attractively.
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the store, including cleaning spills and organizing displays.
• Assisting with stock deliveries and ensuring products are stored appropriately.
• Following health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
