Job Description:
As a Customer Assistant at Tesco, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience. This role involves various tasks, including helping customers find products, processing transactions, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and tidy store environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide assistance with finding products or answering queries.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the checkout.
• Replenish stock on the shop floor, ensuring that shelves are well-stocked and neatly organized.
• Ensure that the store is clean and tidy at all times, including cleaning spills and emptying bins.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and restocking shelves in the warehouse area.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve store targets.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous retail experience is desirable but not essential.
