Role Overview:

As a Story Gatherer Volunteer at Milestone Museum, you will play a vital role in collecting and documenting personal stories and memories from our community members. Responsibilities:

• Interviewing: Conduct interviews with community members to gather their personal stories and experiences.
• Documentation: Record and document collected stories using digital tools or written formats.
• Research: Assist in researching historical context to enrich the collected stories.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with museum staff and other volunteers to ensure a comprehensive collection of stories.

Requirements:

• Passion for local history and storytelling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Ability to use digital tools for documentation (training provided).
• Flexibility to work both on-site at Milestone Museum in Chilcomb, Winchester, and remotely.
