Are you an experienced retail professional with a passion for leadership? Primark is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Shift Manager at our Chelmsford store. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and motivating our team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Ensure that the store operates efficiently and effectively during your shift.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, providing clear instructions and guidance.
• Monitor and manage store operations, including cash handling, stock management, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular team briefings and provide feedback and coaching to team members to support their development.
• Handle customer queries and complaints effectively, ensuring that issues are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation at all times.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a retail supervisory or management role is essential.
