In this role, you will provide essential support to our scouting team in identifying and evaluating talented football players for recruitment to our academy and first-team squad. You will assist in the coordination of scouting activities, player assessments, and database management to support the club’s long-term player recruitment strategy.Responsibilities:

  • Assist scout officers in identifying and assessing talented football players through match analysis, scouting reports, and player evaluations.
  • Coordinate scouting activities, including scheduling matches, arranging travel logistics, and liaising with scouting networks and partner clubs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date player databases, scouting reports, and performance metrics to support player recruitment decisions.
  • Assist in organizing trial events, talent identification programs, and scouting trials for youth and academy players.
  • Support the scouting team in preparing scouting reports, player profiles, and presentations for club management and coaching staff.
  • Collaborate with academy coaches, recruitment analysts, and performance staff to ensure alignment between scouting activities and player development objectives.
  • Stay informed about emerging talent, scouting trends, and developments in the football industry to enhance the club’s scouting capabilities.
  • Provide administrative support to the scouting department, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining scouting budgets and expenses.

Requirements:

  • Passion for football and a strong understanding of player talent identification and evaluation.
  • Previous experience in football scouting, talent identification, or player recruitment preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with players, coaches, scouts, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with player scouting databases or software systems.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to attend matches, trials, and scouting events.
