As the Assistant Head Coach at our Nike Taplow Store, you’ll support the Head Coach (Store Manager) in driving an inspiring and high-performance environment where employees and customers thrive.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head Coach in overall store operations, people management, and performance

• Lead, coach, and develop store athletes (retail assistants) to deliver premium customer service

• Drive daily business results and contribute to long-term strategic goals

• Oversee merchandising, stock levels, and visual presentation standards

• Support recruitment, training, scheduling, and team motivation

• Implement company initiatives that enhance the customer experience and improve efficiency

• Act as a brand ambassador and champion of Nike’s values, culture, and mission

👤 What You Bring

• Proven retail leadership experience, ideally within a high-volume or premium retail setting

• Strong people management skills — able to motivate, develop, and lead a diverse team

• Business acumen and understanding of retail KPIs, customer experience, and operations

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a solution-focused mindset

• Passion for the Nike brand, sport, and customer engagement

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
