Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Regional Clinical Network Coordinator to join our team in Sheffield. This role is crucial in supporting the development and maintenance of clinical networks, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and coordination among healthcare professionals and organizations within the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to enhancing patient care through network facilitation.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support the activities of regional clinical networks, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and distributing materials.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among network members, including healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and external partners.
- Monitor and track the progress of network initiatives, ensuring alignment with regional and national healthcare priorities.
- Collect, analyze, and report on data related to network activities and outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of clinical networks.
- Organize and manage events, workshops, and training sessions to support network development and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of network activities, ensuring compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
- Provide administrative support to network leadership, including scheduling, correspondence, and document management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related field. A relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable.
- Previous experience in a healthcare administration or coordination role, preferably within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data management and reporting tools.
- Understanding of the structure and function of clinical networks and the broader healthcare system.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
