Job Description

The Stock Manager will play a critical role in managing the store’s inventory, optimizing stock levels, and coordinating logistics to maximize sales and efficiency. This position is suited for a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the stock control of the store, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and the central distribution center to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems to accurately track stock movements.
  • Lead a team of stock assistants, providing training and guidance to optimize performance.
  • Analyze sales data to forecast needs and plan stock orders accordingly.
  • Ensure the storage and handling of stock complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and report findings to the store manager and central management.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align stock availability with promotional activities and customer demand.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in stock or inventory management, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
