Job Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales, optimizing customer satisfaction, and managing the store team. You will ensure operational efficiency and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of store presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to increase footfall, enhance customer engagement, and boost sales performance.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure a high level of team performance.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and optimal stock rotation.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, ensuring the store operates within the legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and other departments to drive store success.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail sales management, ideally within a fashion or homeware environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, team members, and senior management.
  • Analytical skills with a strong grasp of retail metrics and the ability to apply data insights to improve store performance.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
