Position Overview: As a Customer Assistant in the Travel Money department, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to customers purchasing foreign currency, travel insurance, and other travel-related products. You will assist customers with their currency exchange needs, handle transactions accurately, and provide information about our travel services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their travel money needs.
  • Process currency exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide information and assistance to customers regarding travel insurance and other travel-related products.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Travel Money department.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including security measures for currency handling.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge of foreign currency exchange is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
