Position Overview: We are seeking friendly and dedicated Customer Assistants to join our store in Oxford on a part-time basis. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, locating products, and offering product recommendations.
  • Operate the checkout, handle transactions accurately, and ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process.
  • Replenish stock on shelves, ensuring products are well-presented and labeled correctly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including aisles, displays, and checkout areas.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and ordering as needed.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals and targets.
Qualifications:
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
