Job Description: As a Customer Assistant at Lidl’s various stores in London, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store and delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers with a friendly demeanor and assisting them with their shopping needs.
- Providing product information and recommendations to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
- Operating cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling transactions and payments.
- Restocking shelves and ensuring products are well-presented and organized throughout the store.
- Assisting with inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and replenishment.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the store, including cleaning spills and ensuring aisles are clear.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve store targets and deliver excellent customer service.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
