Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our store in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the store, ensuring a welcoming environment for both customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including sales floors, restrooms, staff areas, and external areas.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are consistently clean.
• Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the Store Manager promptly.
• Assist with other duties as required, including supporting store operations during busy periods.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices related to cleaning duties.
