Role Overview

As a Remote Inbound Insurance Sales Agent, you’ll respond to inbound calls from prospective customers looking for personal lines insurance (Auto, Home, Renters, etc.). Your job is to understand their needs, provide quotes, educate them on coverage, and close the sale—all while working from the comfort of your home in Colorado.


Responsibilities

  • Take inbound sales calls from individuals seeking personal insurance

  • Match customer needs to appropriate policy options

  • Deliver clear, accurate insurance quotes

  • Close new policies in compliance with company standards

  • Maintain knowledge of The Hartford’s product portfolio and regulatory guidelines

  • Meet performance goals in sales, service, and customer experience

  • Record and manage all client interactions accurately in the system


What We’re Looking For

  • Must reside in Colorado

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree a plus

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or customer service (call center preferred)

  • Active Property & Casualty license preferred—or willingness to obtain (with company-paid training)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with virtual tools and systems

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable to a structured remote environment
