Position Summary

As a Remote Inbound Call Center Insurance Sales Agent, you will assist prospective customers across Rhode Island who are looking for Personal Lines Insurance such as Auto, Homeowners, and Renters. Your goal will be to educate, provide quotes, and close sales—all while delivering a first-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales calls and identify customer insurance needs

• Recommend appropriate personal lines products

• Provide accurate, tailored insurance quotes

• Close new business in accordance with compliance standards

• Maintain knowledge of products and licensing requirements

• Record all interactions accurately in the CRM

• Meet or exceed sales and service performance goals

Requirements

• Must reside in Rhode Island

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus)

• 1+ year of sales or customer service experience (call center preferred)

• Property & Casualty insurance license preferred—or willingness to obtain (The Hartford provides paid training)

• Strong communication and active listening skills

• Tech-savvy and comfortable working from home in a structured environment

• Goal-oriented and self-motivated
