Job Description:
Walmart is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Fresh Food Associates at our Burnaby location. As a Fresh Food Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, freshness, and presentation of our perishable food items while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of fresh food products, including fruits, vegetables, meats, and dairy items.
• Stock and rotate products on shelves and displays to maintain freshness and appeal.
• Keep the fresh food department clean, organized, and properly maintained, including display cases, shelves, and storage areas.
• Assist customers in locating and selecting fresh food items, providing product information and recommendations as needed.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of fresh food products and their proper handling, storage, and presentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
