Job Title: Employee Experience and Wellbeing Lead
Location: Slough, Berkshire (Hybrid working available)

Salary: £45,000 – £52,000 per annum (Grade 9, dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

We are now recruiting a dynamic and strategic Employee Experience and Wellbeing Lead to help shape an exceptional employee journey — from onboarding to progression — while embedding a culture of health, inclusion, and belonging across the organisation.
This role is key to ensuring that our workforce is supported, engaged, and empowered. You’ll lead on employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, internal communications, and cultural change projects, working closely with HR, senior leaders, and staff networks to make Slough a great place to work.
🎯 Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of employee engagement and wellbeing strategies

Analyse feedback and data to improve employee experience at every touchpoint

Oversee staff surveys, pulse checks, and engagement metrics

Champion mental health, EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion), and healthy working practices

Collaborate with HR, OD, and leadership to improve staff development and workplace culture

Coordinate recognition programmes and internal campaigns

Provide expert advice on wellbeing policies, flexible working, and psychological safety

Manage staff forums, wellbeing champions, and network groups
👤 What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in HR, OD, employee engagement, or wellbeing-focused roles

Strong understanding of wellbeing frameworks, employee lifecycle, and organisational culture

Data-savvy with experience in designing and analysing surveys

Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels

CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable

Passionate about people, inclusion, and continuous improvement

Confident project manager with the ability to work both strategically and operationally
