Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Security Data Analyst to join our security team. This role offers a half-remote work arrangement, allowing for a mix of in-office and remote work based in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, cybersecurity, and threat intelligence.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to identify security threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalous activities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor security metrics and trends.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis of security incidents to determine root causes and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with security engineers, incident response teams, and other stakeholders to enhance security measures and protocols.
• Implement and optimize data analytics tools and techniques to improve threat detection and response capabilities.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to ensure proactive defense strategies.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and technical teams in a clear and concise manner.
• Support the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Security Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong focus on data-driven security analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and scripting.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems and other security analytics tools.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence, and incident response processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify patterns.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
