Role Summary: The Merchandising Assistant will support our store’s visual merchandising efforts and ensure that our products are displayed in an appealing and organized manner. This role is crucial in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers and driving sales through effective product presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of floor layouts and planograms to optimize product placement and appearance.
• Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure product availability and timely restocking of shelves.
• Maintain store presentation according to ASDA’s standards and seasonal themes.
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to execute promotional setups and take-downs.
• Monitor and maintain the condition of merchandise on the sales floor.

Requirements:

• Experience in retail merchandising or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods.
