Job Overview:

Amazon is hiring motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Fulfillment Associates at our Nottingham Fulfillment Center. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Picking and Packing: Accurately select and pack customer orders, ensuring they are ready for shipment.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, stow, and manage inventory within the warehouse.
  • Sorting and Scanning: Sort packages by destination and ensure accurate scanning for delivery processing.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect products to ensure they meet Amazon’s high standards before shipping.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided).
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with your team to meet daily and weekly productivity goals.
Qualifications:
  • Physical Endurance: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items up to 23 kg (50 lbs) for extended periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all tasks, particularly in picking and packing orders.
  • Reliability: Strong attendance and punctuality are essential for success in this role.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • No Experience Necessary: Full training provided. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are key.
