Job Description: As a Warehouse Operator at Aldi’s Barnsley distribution center, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving, sorting, and storing incoming goods in designated warehouse areas.
• Fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently by picking and packing items.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles in a timely manner to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and responsibly.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Valid forklift operator certification would be advantageous but is not essential.
