Overview:

Tesla’s Austin team is looking for an AI Development Team Intern to help advance the capabilities of our AI and machine learning technologies. This role offers a hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment where technology meets innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and refinement of AI models used in Tesla’s Autopilot and energy systems.
  • Work alongside experienced engineers and data scientists to analyze large datasets and implement model improvements.
  • Engage in the entire lifecycle of AI solutions, from problem definition to deployment.
  • Collaborate on interdisciplinary teams to translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design.
  • Document your findings and present them to the senior management team.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++ and familiarity with ML libraries such as TensorFlow or Keras.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn about new technologies and frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
