Job Description: Newcastle United Football Club is seeking a talented and dedicated Football Scout to join our scouting team. As a Football Scout, you will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing talented football players for recruitment to our club. Your responsibilities will include:

• Attending matches at various levels, including youth games, academy fixtures, and senior league matches, to scout potential talent.
• Evaluating players based on their technical abilities, tactical understanding, physical attributes, and mental strength.
• Providing detailed scouting reports and assessments on identified players, including strengths, weaknesses, and overall suitability for Newcastle United.
• Building and maintaining a network of contacts within the football community, including other clubs, agents, coaches, and players.
• Collaborating with the club’s coaching staff, recruitment team, and senior management to identify recruitment priorities and targets.
• Keeping abreast of developments in the football industry, including emerging talent, transfer news, and scouting technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in football scouting, talent identification, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of football tactics, player evaluation techniques, and scouting methodologies.
• Excellent observational skills, with the ability to assess players accurately and objectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to travel frequently and work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to attend matches and scouting events.
